June 27th 2024 saw a great day of competition and fellowship for those representing the Veteran Games at the Rehabilitation triathlon in Plymouth. This annual event draws together WSI competitors from across the serving and veteran communities from UK, the USA and the Netherlands. A special thanks and congratulations to Ian Breeze (Breezy) who not only took on the role of Veteran Games team captain but also came away with a very well deserved silver medal against stiff competition - an outstanding effort!
It was also great to see so many members of the Veteran Games community, some of whom had travelled a considerable distance to be there, supporting the competitors and promoting the Veteran Games across the wider veteran community.
A special thank you must go to the irrepressible Tim Crossin; Tim was unable to attend at the last moment due to the need for urgent medical treatment, nevertheless, he found the time to send the team best wishes from his hospital bed - appropriately dressed in a Veteran Games top - bravo Tim!
